I picked up IntelliAdmin earlier this year as a self-hosted 'behind any firewall' remote support tool. It works great, 100X better than the stupid VNC I have to use on the one Mac server I've got. Multi-monitor support works exactly as expected and the scaling works well. Fortunately the software is continually updated and a Mac capable version is in the pipeline. In my case, self-hosted means on a public IP and the agent gets deployed by GPO -OR- a per-session download from the web address is used. Works well for me.There is a LAN only version too, I don't know that much about it, but the monitor selector and scaling should be similar if not identical.Regards,Brian in CA.

It does the whole display as one normal-resolution sort of landscape. Scrolling left to right goes between screens.End-time and Phoenix: Do either of you run into graphical freeze/monitor lockups w/ Dameware MRC and Tightvnc?TravisI have not experienced any 'graphical freeze/monitor lockups' with TightVNC when it use it locally or from home with the SSH. Blech. The screen redraw/refresh failures are probably the 'lockups' and I get that with VNC frequently. On a GbE LAN.Never liked a VNC client yet, not even when Olivetti did magic by inventing it. TightVNC looks a bear to deploy especially with the Windows graphics driver component for best performance.Regards,Brian in CAWe do not have macs here on site so I never looked into that.
Is there a native package for Mac or do you use the generic Java package? Just go this email from Dameware. Coincidence or what?:Good MorningWe are excited to announce the release of DameWare Remote Support 11.0 with a new centralized architecture and the ability to remotely assist users outside the firewall, over the internet!
I use TeamViewer, and I like it a lot. Dual monitor support, even on their Windows Phone app, which I use quite a bit, and they have apps for IPhone and Android as well.
I like that fact that I have a centralized list of computers that I can connect to just by clicking on them in the list. It also tells me which computers are online or offline right there in the list.I'm not sure about the others, but one thing to keep in mind about TeamViewer. You can install it on as many clients as you want for the same price. In other words, you pay per license for how many concurrent sessions you want/need. I have a single session license, but I have it installed on over 60 clients. I could go to 600 or 6000 at no additional cost if the need arose.
If you have the need for two or more people to be remoting into clients simultaneously, you buy additional licenses for each concurrent session. Just wanted to make sure you were aware when trying to compare costs.
